Future of Youtube

It is a fact that kids spend a lot more time on the internet than they do watching tv and they watch their videos on youtube mostly. This is why there is a growing popularity for Youtubers and they are gaining more and more subscribers each day, meaning they are making more money. This encourages more people to join the Youtube community and upload videos on their own channel. It creates a lot of oppourtunity for everyone but at the same time, it means more and more people are going after the same thing, making it difficult to succeed. Youtubers like Jenna Marbles and even Justin Bieber have opened up the can of worms that is Youtube. Viral videos attract millions of people make people want to see more. Everyday more channels are being created and more people are uploading. Some of the most successful Youtubers have over 10 million subscribers and earn six figure incomes every year. I have been a fan of many Youtubers for years, like KingsleyTyler Oakley and Jenna Marbles. These are comedy Youtubers but I am also subscribed to music channels, cooking channels, vloggers (video bloggers), and news channels. There are channels for everyone, and you can choose what you want to watch on demand, so it's better than tv really. One of my favourite Youtubers is Shay Carl. He uploads vlogs on a daily basis on his channel called Shaytards and now has 1,828,748 subscribers and counting. In my opinion he has the best job in the world because he just documents and broadcasts his life. It means he can work from home and spend more time with his family and create memories with them. Other successful vloggers on Youtube include Joey GraceffaiJustine and CTFxC. Vlogging is an easy way to make money which is why lots of young people struggling with money are resorting to it. And why wouldn't they? It's fun and easy to do and if you become popular enough, not only will you make lots of money but you will have so many more opportunities and you will get to meet lots of interesting people. Youtube is a grossing spectrum that millions of people are involved in. There is a lot of money in it which is why Youtube is the future.

Wolf of Wall Street Swearing

The new rated 18 comedy is known to have said the F word 506 times! This makes for a new record and means that Leonardo DiCaprio says the word approximately 2.8 times a minute. The movie is 180 minutes long so if you do the math, the F word takes up just over 8 minutes of the movie...

OSCAR NOMINATIONS

Best Movie:
American Hustle
Gravity
Dallas Buyers Club (my fave)
12 Years a Slave
Captain Phillips
Her
Nebraska
Philomena
Wolf of Wall Street

The movies this year are extremely competitive with one another and it's the first year where I think they all deserve to win (except American Hustle which was painfully boring). I am hoping Dallas Buyers Club will win, because not only does it star Matthew Mcconaughey and Jared Leto, but it is also an interesting true story that has never been attempted before. It is different to all the other movies and deserves to do well.

Delivery Man Review

I recently went to go and see the film 'Delivery Man'. It is about a middle-aged sperm donor called David Wozniak who is a massive underachiever. He discovers 20 years after donating that he is the father of 533 children, 142 of which want to know who their biological father is; thus he possesses the nickname 'Starbuck', as in the name of the sperm bank. The movie consists of David doing everything he can to protect his identity, but trying to make a difference to his children's lives at the same time. Getting to know each of his children make him start to consider whether he should expose himself as Starbuck or not. It stars comedy king, Vince Vaughn. Obviously I was very excited when I heard he was going to be in it as he is one of my favourite actors, but this also meant I had high expectations for the film. Without sounding biased, Vaughn delivered a sound performance, as ever, and the movie in general was very funny and surprisingly heartfelt at moments. Cobie Smulders played alongside Vaughn as David's pregnant girlfriend, Emily. In my opinion, she has never been an incredibly admirable actress to me, judging on 'How I Met Your Mother'. Therefore I feel she slightly held Vaughn back in some parts of the movie. Chris Pratt played David's lawyer in the movie, delivering a pleasant performance. All in all, I would recommend the movie very much, and even though there are many great movies out at the moment, this is a must-see.
